Discover
At the outset of every project, we conduct in-depth research to discover and define relevant human behaviours and mindsets, which drive insights.
Our research capabilities are multilayered – from ethnographic research in the form of user interviews and group workshops to analysing global micro and macro trends. We also explore the cutting edge of material and technological possibility. During this phase, our research team works closely with our product design team to transform insights into tangible opportunities.
Define
Driven by the opportunities discovered during the research phase, our product team defines a vision for the project in line with our partners’ values and aspirations.
Through sketching, UI/UX scenarios, conceptual CAD, and maquette models, this vision drives the creation of a series of concept stories based on new formats and functionality, which in turn leads to the generation of an intelligent design language and appropriate commercial strategy.
Refine
We have a rigorous concept development process during which we refine and detail the concepts selected to move forward with.
Our product design team uses software tools to create multiple iterations of a design to refine form, function and CMF, and to produce photorealistic visuals and sophisticated appearance models for research and venturing.
Our engineers construct test rigs and functional prototypes to develop and perfect mechanisms and build in robustness through testing. The physical and digital teams work hand-in-hand to ensure physical and digital UX is robust and compelling.
Deliver
Our delivery is tailored to our partners’ needs, from crafting storytelling videos and strategic presentations to creating market-ready products.
When delivering a product to market, we work with selected production facilities from our network and create data for tooling, production-ready parts and manage the quality control process.
During a product launch, we create communication strategies across print and digital, produce installations for exhibitions and events, and art direct photography and video content.
